Dressing for Dinner—Miniature-Style
It was formal night aboard the Princess cruise ship, and while most guests were straightening bow ties and adjusting gowns, EMRJ Lego Man was dealing with a far more pressing problem: keeping his sticker tuxedo from peeling off in the Caribbean humidity. Thankfully, he managed to “secure” a formal outfit before the trip. His traveling companion (me), however, was not so lucky—we were far from a matching pair. Still, he remained determined. “You never know who you’ll meet at dinner,” he said, slicking back his plastic hair. “Could be the captain, a celebrity, or someone who mistakes me for a table decoration.”
Table for One (Half an Inch Tall)
When we arrived at the dining room, the hostess paused as I set EMRJ Lego Man on the table. “He’ll be joining me,” I reassured her. She smiled kindly and placed a bread plate that looked, from his perspective, roughly the size of an aircraft carrier.
The chandeliers sparkled, violins played softly, and EMRJ Lego Man stood proudly on his chair, taking it all in. “I feel like royalty,” he whispered. “But I also feel like I could fall into the soup at any moment.”
The Battle of the Forks
The menu was three pages of tempting dishes. He studied the elegant print. “Do I get my own menu,” he asked, “or do I just point at yours and hope it works?”
Silverware was another challenge. The salad fork could’ve doubled as a surfboard, and the knife might as well have been a ski ramp. Watching him try to spear a single leaf of lettuce was like watching a miniature knight face off against a kale dragon.moment.”
The Battle of the Forks

The menu arrived—three pages of delicious temptation. He squinted at the elegant print, then looked up. “Do I get my own menu? Or do I just point at yours and hope for the best?”
When the server placed our appetizers on the table, EMRJ Lego Man was immediately overwhelmed. “That

shrimp cocktail could feed an entire Lego City!” he exclaimed. “Is it socially acceptable to rappel into it?”
The silverware presented its own challenges. The salad fork was the size of a surfboard, and the knife could easily have doubled as a ski slope. Watching him try to spear a single leaf of lettuce was like watching a knight battle a dragon made of kale.
The Sweet Finale
Dessert sealed the night. When the fruit plate arrived, EMRJ Lego Man climbed onto it like a mountaineer tackling new terrain. One triumphant bite of fresh fruit, and he declared it a moment of pure bliss.

A Feast Fit for a Mini-Hero
This morning I spotted Lego Man hanging at the railing, looking just a little hungover from all the partying he did last night. 😅 But even in his “recovery mode,” he had one mission: pizza. He informed me (very confidently, I might add) that Princess Cruises has been voted Best Pizza at Sea for years — and insisted we try it.

Well… we did.
And according to Lego Man’s highly scientific rating system, it was TOP of the charts. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Honestly? He’s right. It was very good.
The Verdict
When asked for his review, EMRJ Lego Man gave the Princess dining room and the other included venues “five giant forks out of five. The ambiance was elegant, the food was delicious. “I’d say that’s a win.”
